Maintenance & Support
Accessibility Compliance means auditing a website against WCAG, fixing what fails, and keeping it that way as the site changes — because a site that passes in August can fail by October.
Maintenance & Support for Your Business
Businesses selling to EU consumers above the micro-enterprise threshold, and anyone whose customers include people using a screen reader, a keyboard, or a phone at arm's length in bright sun.
- A written record of good-faith work, dated — which matters if anyone ever asks
- The failures ranked by real impact rather than by scanner severity
- Fixes in the markup, not a widget layered over it
- Someone watching for regressions as new pages get added
- Automated WCAG 2.2 AA scan across your key templates
- Manual checks of the flows that matter — contact, booking, checkout
- Keyboard-only and screen-reader spot testing
- A prioritised written report: what fails, why it matters, what it costs to fix
- Remediation quoted from the report, never blind
- Optional monthly monitoring with regression reports
- A VPAT or Accessibility Conformance Report (specialist documentation, referred)
- Legal advice or any assurance about your exposure — speak to a lawyer
- A compliance certificate or badge — nobody can honestly issue one
- Accessibility overlay widgets, which do not work (see below)
- Native mobile app accessibility
How this
service works
First: The Law Might Not Reach You
We would rather lose the sale than sell compliance work to a business the rules do not apply to. The European Accessibility Act exempts micro-enterprises — fewer than 10 employees and under €2 million turnover. Both conditions, not either, which is the most commonly misquoted part of the whole thing. Below that line this is optional, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling. Above it, if you sell to EU consumers, the obligation has been live since June 2025 regardless of where your business is based. Our post on a year of EAA enforcement covers what has actually happened since.
Building It In Costs a Fraction of Retrofitting It
Published 2026 analysis puts remediating an existing site at 2.5 to 4 times the cost of building accessibly from the start, and the median small business site needing somewhere between $4,200 and $8,500 to reach WCAG 2.2 AA from a standing start. That is the single most useful number in this whole subject. It is also why every WebBizora build package includes accessible markup as standard rather than as an upgrade — if you had the site built here, you do not need a remediation project, you need monitoring.
What a Scan Actually Catches
Roughly a quarter to a third of WCAG issues. That is the honest number and it undercuts the cheap end of our own offer, so it is worth stating clearly: automated tools find missing alt attributes, unlabelled fields and contrast failures reliably, and they cannot tell you whether your alt text is meaningful, whether the tab order makes sense, or whether a screen reader can complete your booking form. A clean scan report is a starting point. Anyone selling a monthly scan as compliance is selling you the easy third.
Overlay Widgets Do Not Work
The one-line scripts that add a floating accessibility menu do not make a site compliant, and their presence increasingly signals the opposite to anyone looking properly. They sit on top of the page without fixing the markup a screen reader actually parses. In the US, where litigation volumes are far higher, roughly 1,400 businesses with a widget installed were sued anyway in 2025. We do not install them, we do not resell them, and if you have one we will tell you it is not doing what you were told it does.
Why This Is a Subscription and Not a Certificate
A site that passes an audit in August can fail by October. Every new page, plugin update, theme change and campaign landing page is a chance to reintroduce a barrier — an unlabelled form field, a contrast failure in a new brand colour, an image published without alt text. That is why the monitoring tier exists at $49 a month and why the audit alone is not the finished job. What the monitoring produces that matters most is not the score: it is a dated, documented record of ongoing work. If anyone ever does ask questions, that record is worth considerably more than a stale report from last year.
What We Will Not Tell You
That your site is compliant. Nobody can honestly certify that — WCAG conformance is assessed against criteria, some of which involve judgement, and no scan or agency can hand you immunity. We will tell you what we tested, what failed, what we fixed and what remains, with dates. We are also not lawyers, and nothing on this page is legal advice about your exposure. Where you need a formal Accessibility Conformance Report or a VPAT for procurement, that is specialist documentation and we will point you to people who produce them.
Questions, Answered Directly
Ours is $449 — an automated WCAG 2.2 AA scan across your key templates plus manual checks of the flows that matter, with a prioritised written report. Full expert manual audits are commonly $1,250–$2,750 and small business quotes run $1,500–$5,000; ours is cheaper because it is a smaller thing, and we would rather say that than let the price imply otherwise.
Only if you are above the micro-enterprise threshold — 10 or more employees, or over €2 million turnover — and selling to EU consumers. Both conditions matter and the exemption is routinely misquoted as either/or. Below that line, this is optional.
No. Overlays sit above the page without fixing the underlying markup, and roughly 1,400 US businesses with one installed were sued in 2025 regardless. We do not install or resell them.
No, and be wary of anyone who does. WCAG conformance involves judgement on some criteria and no supplier can hand you immunity. What we provide is a dated record of what was tested, what failed, what was fixed and what remains.
Probably not an audit or remediation — accessible markup is standard in every build package, which is the point of doing it at build time. Monitoring at $49 a month is worth considering once you start adding pages and content yourself, because that is where regressions come from.
From $899, quoted from the audit rather than guessed at beforehand. Published figures put small business remediation at $2,000–$15,000 from a standing start, so the honest answer is that it depends entirely on what the audit turns up.
WebBizora accessibility services cover a WCAG 2.2 AA audit at $449 — an automated scan plus manual checks of the key user flows, with a prioritised written report — remediation from $899 depending on what the audit finds, and ongoing monitoring at $49 a month to catch regressions as the site changes.

Published 2026 guides put small business maintenance at roughly $50–$150 a month for basic cover, $150–$400 for a standard plan and $400–$1,000+ for full service, with ad-hoc freelancer work at $50–$150 an hour. That last figure is the one worth holding onto: ten small changes billed hourly costs more than a year of Essential Care. Plans are monthly, there is no minimum term, and hosting stays in your name throughout.
