Maintenance & Support
Website Speed Optimisation finds why a site is slow and fixes the causes, rather than layering a caching plugin over the symptoms.
Maintenance & Support for Your Business
Sites failing Core Web Vitals in Search Console, sites that have slowed down over time, and anyone whose visitors leave before the page finishes drawing.
- The cause fixed, so it does not come back next month
- An honest answer about whether your host is the limit
- Third-party tags priced in milliseconds, so you can decide what stays
- Field data, not just a lab score that looks better than reality
- Full Core Web Vitals diagnosis — LCP, INP and CLS, lab and field data
- Render-blocking CSS and JavaScript addressed
- Image sizing, format and lazy-loading fixed
- Third-party script audit — what each tag costs you
- Server response and caching configuration
- Layout shift traced to its actual source
- A written before-and-after with the numbers
- A guaranteed PageSpeed score — see below on why nobody should promise one
- Hosting upgrades, if the server itself is the ceiling (we will tell you)
- Ongoing monitoring — that is in Standard Care
- Rebuilding a theme that is fundamentally the problem (quoted separately)
How this
service works
The Three Numbers That Actually Matter
Core Web Vitals is three measurements, and knowing which one you are failing changes the whole diagnosis. Largest Contentful Paint should land under 2.5 seconds and is usually about images, fonts or a slow server. Interaction to Next Paint should be under 200 milliseconds and is almost always JavaScript. Cumulative Layout Shift should stay under 0.1 and is caused by things loading in and pushing content around — unsized images, injected banners, late-loading fonts. A site can pass two and fail one, which is why a general "make it faster" quote from someone who has not looked is worth very little.
Why a Caching Plugin Usually Is Not the Answer
It sometimes helps, and it is the first thing most people try, so it is worth explaining where it stops. Caching serves a stored copy of the page faster — genuinely useful for server response time. It does nothing about a hero image exported at 4000 pixels wide, a font that blocks rendering, six analytics tags firing before the page draws, or a layout that jumps when an ad slot fills. Those are the things that usually decide your numbers, and none of them are a setting. That is why we audit before quoting rather than selling a configuration.
The Tags Nobody Audits
This is where most established sites lose their scores, and it is rarely the developer's doing. A site launches fast, then over two years marketing adds analytics, a heatmap tool, a chat widget, a pixel, a review widget and a cookie banner — each one reasonable on its own, each one loading third-party JavaScript before your content finishes. We measure what each tag actually costs in milliseconds and hand you the list, because that decision is a business one rather than a technical one. Sometimes the honest recommendation is that the heatmap tool is not worth 400ms.
What We Will Not Promise
A score. You will find plenty of before-and-after screenshots in this category and claims that fixing Core Web Vitals lifts rankings by a specific percentage, or that each additional second costs 7% of conversions. Those figures circulate widely and we have not been able to trace them to anything solid, so we do not repeat them. Google's own position is that Core Web Vitals is a contributing signal rather than a primary lever. Faster is genuinely better for the people using your site, and it is a tiebreaker in close results. It is not a ranking strategy, and anyone selling it as one is selling something they cannot control — the same thing our redesign page says about redesigns.
A One-Off Fix Decays, and That Is Not a Sales Line
You can tune almost any site into the green. Staying there while a business keeps publishing pages, adding campaigns and installing tools is a different problem, and it is a property of how the site was built rather than something that stays fixed. So the honest shape of this is: a one-off job to get you there, and either your own discipline afterwards or the Core Web Vitals monitoring already included in Standard Care. We have not invented a separate speed subscription, because that plan already covers it.
Questions, Answered Directly
Ours is $549 one-time, with the audit included rather than billed separately. Published 2026 ranges put boutique agency one-time work at $300–$2,000 and a WordPress speed audit alone at $150–$400, so this sits in the lower half of that band.
It may contribute. Google treats Core Web Vitals as a contributing signal rather than a primary one, and it tends to matter most as a tiebreaker between otherwise similar results. We will not put a number on it, and we would treat anyone who does with suspicion.
Caching addresses server response time. It does nothing about oversized images, render-blocking fonts, third-party scripts or layout shift, which are usually what your numbers are actually failing on. That is why the audit comes first.
Sometimes it genuinely is, and we will tell you if so rather than optimising around a ceiling we cannot move. A slow server response caps how fast anything downstream can be, and no amount of front-end work fixes it.
Not on its own. Every new page, campaign tag and plugin is a chance to lose it again. Ongoing Core Web Vitals monitoring is included in Standard Care rather than sold as a separate speed subscription.
WebBizora website speed optimisation is a $549 one-time service covering a full Core Web Vitals diagnosis and the fixes it identifies — render-blocking resources, oversized and unsized images, third-party script load, server response time and layout shift — with before and after field data. The audit is included rather than billed separately.
What Website Maintenance Costs Here
Monthly, published, and cancellable. The hard part of comparing maintenance quotes is that “maintenance” means something different at every supplier — so each plan below lists what is actually in it, not just a number.

Published 2026 guides put small business maintenance at roughly $50–$150 a month for basic cover, $150–$400 for a standard plan and $400–$1,000+ for full service, with ad-hoc freelancer work at $50–$150 an hour. That last figure is the one worth holding onto: ten small changes billed hourly costs more than a year of Essential Care. Plans are monthly, there is no minimum term, and hosting stays in your name throughout.
