Web Design & Development in Paris

WebBizora designs and develops websites for businesses in Paris, with the same AI-enhanced process used everywhere else — delivered fully remotely.

Local Business Context

Paris carries close to a third of all business creation in Île-de-France, and the great majority of it is one-person micro-entreprises — which decides most of what a website here has to do. WebBizora builds for Paris businesses fully remotely, from $1,199.

Paris Carries a Third of Île-de-France’s New Businesses

INSEE recorded 313,000 business creations in Île-de-France in 2024, up 5.7%, with Paris accounting for close to a third of the regional total and adding 10,000 more creations than the year before — the largest increase of any French département. Nationally 2025 set another record at 1,165,800 creations. More than six in ten Île-de-France creations use the micro-entrepreneur regime. So the business opening next to you this month is, statistically, one person with no staff and very little startup capital.

The Part of That Record Nobody Puts on a Marketing Page

Those creation figures sit alongside numbers that are much less flattering. INSEE followed the 2018 cohort and found only 28% of micro-entrepreneurs still active five years after registering — against 69% of classic businesses over the same period. Fewer than half of micro-entrepreneurs even start trading in their first year, and that rate has been falling. Meanwhile Altares counted 67,830 business failures in 2024, up 17% and above the 2009 peak. Records in both directions. For a Paris business that has survived, this is worth knowing rather than fearing: a great deal of your apparent competition is registrations that never became businesses.

Arrondissements Are How Paris Actually Divides

Twenty arrondissements, and the commercial character changes sharply between them — the 8th and the 11th are not one market with different postcodes. Add the petite couronne, where Boulogne-Billancourt, Montreuil and Saint-Denis are separate communes with separate searches, and "Paris" becomes the most contested and least specific term available. A service business naming the arrondissements and communes it genuinely covers is speaking the language its customers use, and competing against a fraction of the field.

France Is Strict, and Not in the Ways People Expect

Missing mentions légales is a criminal offence under the LCEN, not an administrative slip, and the DGCCRF does send formal notices about it. The Loi Toubon requires consumer-facing content to be available in French — a detail that catches English-first sites aimed at an international Paris audience. And France moved on accessibility faster than any other member state: within days of the European Accessibility Act applying in June 2025, French disability organisations issued notices to major retailers, and Carrefour was ordered to comply under a daily penalty. The France page covers all three, including the LCEN provision scheduled to move into the Code de la consommation.

FAQ

Questions, Answered Directly

Identity and contact details for the publisher, the company’s registration details, and the hosting provider’s name and address. Omitting them is a criminal offence under the LCEN rather than a minor compliance gap — the France page sets out the full requirement.

Consumer-facing content does, under the Loi Toubon. An English-only site aimed at an international Paris audience is a common and avoidable exposure. Building bilingual from the start costs far less than converting a finished site.

Arrondissements and communes, in most cases. Commercial character varies sharply across the twenty arrondissements, and the petite couronne communes are separate markets people search by name. Citywide terms are the hardest and least specific option available.

WebBizora packages start at $1,199 and run to $2,999 for builds including booking or payment integration, delivered remotely. Given that most new Paris businesses launch as micro-entreprises with very little capital, keeping the site a small fixed cost is usually the sensible shape.
